![]() We get some followup on previous plot, we get some time with the lovely and intense Chika, as well as some time with the Ai / Kaguya and Miyuki / Chika combos. I found the plot in vol 5 also quite balanced. I couldn't wait to see how far it would go so I sped through the pages feeling all the emotions! But in this vol we got some serious feels, like I melted into a puddle and slid to the floor sort of feels. and as other characters were introduced their inability to confess to one another has just been confounded. ![]() ![]() serious funny! Yes, the machinations of these two wannabe love birds is totally hilarious. in a good, good way! Up until this point what we were getting from this series was. Kaguya-sama: Love Is War vol 5 was soooo different from the previous volumes. only Chika, their secretary and Ishigami, their treasurer, seem ready to innocently mess up their careful machinations. and neither wants to be the "loser!" As both are geniuses and quite proud they spend each day laying in wait for an opportunity to get the other to confess without losing face. Kaguya is the vice president of their prestigious academy’s student council and she's in love with, Miyuki, the president, and he with her!
